Saul Kripke (emeritus, Princeton) has accepted a full-time appointment as Distinguished Professor of Philosophy at the City University of New York Graduate Center (he is currently quarter-time at CUNY). His seminal contributions to modern philosophy include the books Naming and Necessity (Harvard University Press, 1980) and Wittgenstein on Rules and Private Language (Harvard University Press, 1982).
